OPAL play survey

5th April 2022
Dear parents/carers,

Many thanks to all our parents who attended the OPAL play afternoons on Monday and Friday last week. It really was lovely to be able to invite parents back into school and to be able to share our OPAL play developments with you.
We received lots of positive feedback from parents, regarding the improvements we have made, and it was also lovely to be able to share an opportunity for parents to look at their child's books as well.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Wear and Mrs Such who have been pivotal in driving forward our OPAL programme as well as our wider staff team and play team who have all embraced the programme and can see the benefits for our children.

We are really grateful to parents who signed up to buy something on our wish list and thanks to your generosity we will have additional enhancements for our play offer. We will be in touch with these parents soon to make arrangements for you to purchase the item for school.

We also received £82.00 of donations from parents as well so this will be going towards further planned OPAL developments. Some parents were unable to donate on the day so we have set up a parent pay OPAL donation where parents can just make a small donation to our developments.

Next term, we are going to be running an OPAL after school club on a Monday after school for children in F2- Year 6. There will be small charge for this club but all money generated will be invested in continuing to improve our play offer.
We will send further information out about this club this week, along with a Google form for you to register your child.

We have also added below a link to a survey for parents about our OPAL programme and would really appreciate it if parents could take the time to give us from feedback. https://forms.gle/ZeUHFYYZvatzGpvw8

This form will be open until Tuesday 26th April 2022.

Your feedback is really important to us so if you do have time, please try and complete the survey.

Thank you for your continued support.

Kind regards,

Mrs McAleny
