Parent Information return to school

1st September 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

Please find below an information booklet for parents regarding the return to school. All children in Years 1- 6 should be returning to school on Wednesday 2nd September. This booklet will hopefully help parents to see the measures that we are putting in place within the school setting to try and minimise the risk of cornavirus.

Our reopening plans are based around the following aspects:

  •        *Fulfilling the expectation required of us.
  •        *Ensuring the safety of everyone is paramount in all our decisions and actions.
  •        * Continuing to provide a high quality, well balanced curriculum to best support our pupils in their education.

I will also be sending all parents three documents which should be shared with your child/ren prior to their return to school:

*A mini behaviour booklet.

*A pupil guide (bubble specific)

*Return to school booklet provided by the Children’s commissioner.

We hope that many of our children will be excited to return to school to see their friends and return to some normality. There may be some children who are feeling very nervous and worried about the school return. This is completely normal and please reassure your child that we will do everything we can to settle them back into school life.

We are very excited to be welcoming back all our pupils on Wednesday and can’t wait to reunite our school community again.

Kind regards,

Mrs McAleny
