Remote learning survey (Y1-6)

10th February 2021
Dear Parents/Carers,

A few weeks ago, when we embarked on delivering our remote learning plan, we asked parents for feedback based on what school was providing through our remote learning offer.

The feedback from parents has been overwhelmingly positive and we have also received so many lovely messages from parents which has boosted the staff and supported them during this challenging time. We have faced so many obstacles and hurdles as a staff team but I am so proud of how the staff have overcome these and have tried so hard to ensure that learning has continued and that the children at home feel part of the learning process and connected to their peers.

Attached to this email is an overview of the feedback from parents. We have summarised the feedback for parents and then have included a separate document based on suggestions or queries raised from parents.

It is apparent that everyone's circumstances are different and we won't be able to please everyone, but we hope that this document helps parents to see that we have listened to suggestions even if we are not able to implement them.

We know that we are still very much at the beginning of our remote learning journey (we are still learning things and trialing things everyday) but we hope that parents can see that we really are so committed to trying to support all our children and families as much as we can during these exceptionally challenging times.

Thank you for your continued support.
