Handwriting- Letter Join

We follow the Letter Join scheme from F2 through to Year 6. The children will be taught handwriting in school as discrete lessons but then we would like all our children to practise their handwriting at home.
As part of our subscription to Letter Join, the children have access to it at home to support them further in their learning. We are unable to post the login details on our school website but they have all been emailed home to parents. If you have not received these details, please contact the offce and they will be able to help you. Below you will find the Letter Join home guide which will give you additional information about using the scheme at home.

Times Table Rockstars

As a school, we subscribe to Times Table Rockstars and your child will be able to access this both at home and in school. Your child will have been given their unique login details in order to access the site.
You can click on the link here to be taken to the Times Table Rockstars website.

When it comes to times tables, speed AND accuracy are important – the more facts your child remembers, the easier it is for them to do harder calculations. Times Table Rock Stars is a fun and challenging programme designed to help pupils master the times tables. To be a Times Table Rock Star you need to answer any multiplication fact up to 12×12 in less than 3 seconds!

Spelling Shed

Spelling Shed is utilised from Years 1- Year 6 and provides an opportunity for your child to rehearse their weekly spellings. Staff will upload the spellings that are being taught in school into Spelling Shed on a weekly basis so that your child can undertake additional practise. Spelling shed utilises a range of fun games and activities to promote enjoyment whilst learning spellings.
